Land Matters has been assisting Toitū Tairāwhiti Housing Programme in developing a Project management system/tool to assist their people in providing affordable Whanau Housing and adapt the system to manage the recent weather events that have affected the area and supply temporary housing/accommodation.

In March 2022 a large hundred-year-old stormwater pipe had collapsed underneath private property in Karori. Land Matters was engaged by Wellington Water to restore the underground assets from optioneering designs, arranging access with landowners, construction and contractor management to practical completion.

Land Matters has provided commercial and strategic property advisory services to assist with the assessment of various land and housing projects including RFR, Papakāinga and social housing.

Land Matters performed the role of Contract Manager throughout the project, overseeing tasks such as obtaining Building Consent, conducting the tender process, assigning a contract (identified as NZS3901), managing contractors and suppliers, finalising the contract and approving progress claims, obtaining CCC, and receiving sign-off from MOE and MOH

Land Matters supported the project by providing Project Management and Engineering services to the project in regard to tender, programme, construction documentation and civil, utility and hardscape construction.
